UPDATE: Not long ago we reviewed a different product from Good Supply and were extremely disappointed. However they recently made up for it with their Growers Choice Sativa which was great even though we have no clue about the strain.
So when we saw Good Supply was offering a kush strain we thought it would be the perfect one to review. We love kush cannabis strains and Good Supply Starwalker Kush has a sci-fi ring to it that sounded delightful. Here’s how Good Supply describes the product on their website: Reach for the sky with Starwalker Kush. Upside down, right side up – you won’t care when these spicy diesel notes hit you.
That sounds pretty good, but how does their Starwalker Kush smoke?
Smell
Good Supply’s Starwalker Kush arrived in a large bright green bag with a resealable zipper opening. We tore into the bag which released a strong black pepper aroma which did not dissipate quickly either. This makes a lot of sense when you consider the dominant terpenes are Caryophyllene, Pinene and Nerolidol.
Appearance
Popcorn-sized buds are quite dense with little stems. Each of the buds were bold dark green with bright reddish-brown hairs that were marbled together for an impressive appearance. Plus the surfaces sparkled quite nicely with trichomes.
Flavour
You probably guessed what this one tasted like but when in doubt, always read on! The flavour was unmistakable and reminded us of black pepper which isn’t the worst flavour but it was strong and the smoke was a bit harsh on the throat. We actually preferred Good Supply’s Grower’s Choice Indica more in terms of smell and taste.
Experience
Listed with 20.9% THC content and a price tag of $17.99 for 3.5 grams, we found Starwalker Kush from Good Supply offered decent value. For those new to cannabis, the effects are usually close to immediate when inhaling however sometimes the effects aren’t immediate which is referred to as a creeper. This buzz for this strain was very mild at first, but snuck up on us a short time later. Overall we found this to be a much better product then the Jean Guy strain we reviewed from them.

Hi! I just bought an ounce of Good Supply Starwalker Kush @ Flora in West Kelowna.
It’s super dry. I see it was packaged on May which is fine but there was no humidity packet thing.
For future I’m wondering if this is normal practice?
Maybe a “best before” date? Help

We’ve noticed the same thing with several of the brands. Totally agree with you, we think more of them should be including a moisture pack/terpene shield to prevent the buds from drying out.

Yes. Agree totally. I bought several Moisture packs. To put with my selections of pot. Makes a big difference. Very few come with them ..the last six strains. One came with a moisture pack. Organic LA Confidential

We’re going to review this one again. The batch we got was so dry, but we’ve heard from the community a lot about this one so think it deserves another go.

I just bought a oz of this in new west today which is 3-19-22 and it did had the humidity pack in there but was packaged on 6-24-21 so its super dry and smokes harsh on the throat, it is quite strong and a creeper which i like , for $118 a oz im ok with it

Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree their product tends to be very dry but at least the price is reasonable.

Managed to grab a half oz of a friend grower for £120 little steep for the moment but they did a great job in growing and culty and this wasnt dry because i got it fresh and its deff a creeper but not so peppery when fresh and a lot sweeter!!!
I thought it was a cheeze at 1st, but all in all, a lovely taste and its as smooth as I like but wouldnt smoke it outside when the neighbours are in because of it pungent aroma!!!
9/10 for me as an all rounder!

We found the smoke in our batch a bit harsh because the buds were really dry. It would have been killer if they’d included a moisture shield. Going to review this one again in the near future, a lot of community members really enjoy this strain.

I got an ounce of this stuff for my birthday but I when I opened it, it was very clear that about a half oz. was missing, not sure why this has happened but I am extremely disappointed.

Yes I purchased oz packages march 2023, it’s nasty. Tastes like cat piss. Don’t buy this stuff ever. In fact don’t buy from this company cause this isn’t kush, they’re liars.
