Highland White Lightning Review & Cannabis Photos

White Lighting from Highland is an indica-dominant hybrid with a strong lineage that includes White Widow and Northern Lights #5.

White Lightning from Highland is an indica-dominant strain that was created when Northern Lights #5 was crossed with White Widow.

Highland describes White Lightning as having a spicy, earthy aroma with undertones of gas. The buds are a combination of light and dark green leaves with pronounced orange hairs and covered in a heavy coat of sugary trichome crystals. Highland’s White Lighting is definitely more expensive then many other products, but that is okay if it delivers an outstanding experience. Does it?

Smell

The product arrived in a medium sized blue bag with resealable zipper top. Tearing open the package released a complex aroma that started a musky earthy floral before changing to a steadfast herbal with a very very subtle hint of gas of diesel. The smell is not overpowering but there was certainly a number of scents going mixing together and the end result if quite pleasant.

Appearance

Visually Highland’s White Lighting looks really good. These medium sized plump buds look great with their many shades of green (light to dark) tones, brown hair highlights and layer of trichomes so thick it almost reminded us of sugar coated breakfast cereal.

Flavour

White Lightning is on point in terms of matching aroma to flavour. While both the aroma and flavour profiles present very similarly, we found the taste of this product to be a bit more mild then expected. At the very beginning we detected a touch of musky floral that quickly become changing a strong herbal note for the duration.

Experience

Highland’s White Lighting is a good product but the price makes us hesitate. It delivered a strong high while maintaining a calm mental state that included a strong body buzz. However the sad shocking aspect is the price when comparing the quality of this product against market competition. Unfortunately we’d probably pass on this one… also we kinda preferred Highland’s Gaelic Fire product more anyway.

Summary
Highland's White Lighting is a good product but the price makes it really hard to recommend. It looks great and has a nice smell and flavour while delivering a strong high. However the price of the product compared to market competition makes us say take a pass on this one. We actually preferred Highland's Gaelic Fire product more anyway.

Since high school my friends and I have been recreational cannabis users so we decided to start Cannibros after legalization in 2019. We review and photograph the different products then share them on this website. The rating system we use is called “SAFE” which stands for Smell, Appearance, Flavour and Experience. Each category gets a score out of 10.
