Originally cultivated in British Columbia, Marley Gold is described as having a herbal aroma with notes of pine, true to its Sweet Pink Grapefruit and Big Skunk #1 roots. So we put it to the test.

With a brand carrying the Marley name, we sincerely hope this bud represents. However with no moisture pack in the container, there was only a faint mild herbal smell with hint of pine.
True to its name, it has a very natural outdoor bushy appearance. The fluffy flaky leaflets on the outside find their way to the bottom of the container due to their dryness when the buds roll around in the container. A little shake never hurts.
Having a strong flavor is usually a good thing. Except if that flavor is strong black pepper. Harsh on the throat as one might image, it follows this initial overpowering flavor with a curious piney aftertaste.
Marley Gold has a strong mellow high that lasts a couple of hours depending on your tolerance level. It was good, but for some reason we just expected more.
