Qwest Stuffed French Toast Review

Stuffed French Toast from Qwest is a potent hybrid with an aroma similar to sweet cinnamon, orange and earthy pine.

Qwest Stuffed French Toast is a potent hybrid that combines a high THC percent (28.9%) with the aroma of cinnamon, citrus and hints of herbal pine.

Much like Qwest Reserve’s Point Break, this is another premium priced cultivar that is currently listed at $54.95 for a half quarter (3.5 grams). Given this top shelf price point we’re expecting this bud to knock our socks off in terms of quality. However aside from the info provided by Qwest on their website we were not able to find much on this cultivar. So how does Stuffed French Toast compare to other hybrids like Qwest Reserve’s Sunset Mac or their Banana OG?

Smell

The product arrived in a small glass container with security lid. When we popped the top off we had to scratch our heads for a minute because we were expecting something on the sweet side, but it was not not. After studying for a few minutes we began to detect a subtle smell that was kinda like syrup with a touch of burnt cinnamon. There is also a clear earthy but this stays more to the background. Qwest included a moisture shield so the buds were quite fresh, but we’ll discuss that in the appearance section.

Appearance

As mentioned above a moisture shield was include which makes a big difference in terms of the freshness of the product. The dense marble sized buds were covered in a very heavy layer of trichomes which covered a combination of dark and light green leaves interwoven with orange pistils. Visually their is nothing wrong with the product.

Flavour

This flavour follows a very similar path to the smell; however we found the cinnamon taste came through a bit stronger. Overall there is a sweet earthy that leans more on its earthy but there were definitely points where the cinnamon became more prominent. The flavour was nice but not exactly what we expected.

Experience

This is another Qwest product we liked but have a tough time recommending given the price. If this was $10-15 less then it would be totally a different game. However with that being said, it delivered a physical buzz that felt like you’re wearing a helmet combined with a moderately strong mental high. The experience is not bad but when you’re selling a half quarter for close to $60 we think it needs to be special. Long story short, you can find similar (and even better) for less money. However we did like this one a tad more then Qwest’s Papaya Cake strain but the expensive price makes that irrelevant.

Since high school my friends and I have been recreational cannabis users so we decided to start Merry Jade after legalization in 2019. We review and photograph the different products then share them on this website. The rating system we use is called “SAFE” which stands for Smell, Appearance, Flavour and Experience. Each category gets a score out of 10.
