UP Ghost Train Haze Review

Ghost Train Haze is a sativa-dominant strain that was created when Ghost OG was crossed with Neville’s Wreck.

UP Ghost Train Haze has legendary genetics which are known for THC potency, so we were excited to see if this plant lived up to it’s reputation. Their team is known around the cannabis industry for taking extra care and attention during cultivation and post-harvest to ensure you get the healthy and fresh terpenes you expect from their products.

It will interesting to see how this compares to UP’s Ultra Sour which is another sativa from this brand.

Smell

The first thing I noticed after opening this bag of Ghost Train Haze from UP is the strong pepper smell with a hint of lemon that hit my nose. The distinct black pepper aroma is noticeably instantly and does not fade away quickly.

Appearance

The buds themselves are medium in size and look fluffy. The sight of bright green buds covered in frosty white trichomes is always pleasing. The only compliant would be the extra leaf found on some of the buds, however that is a pretty minor issue with this batch.

Flavour

Inhaling the Ghost Train Haze reveals a distinctive yet delightful woody herbal taste with a subtle peppery undertone. Interestingly, the flavor didn’t match our initial expectation of being overpoweringly strong; instead, it offered a nuanced and balanced experience.

Experience

Our bag was labelled lot number (L) AAA-112965-D and packaged on November 11, 2020. Listed with 22.6% THC content and a price tag of $26.95 for 3.5 grams, we found Ghost Train Haze from UP Cannabis delivers a nice strong experience. The high was very strong, heavy but still somewhat energetic. Habitual users will enjoy this as much as new comers. Given the low price point we would recommend you check this one out and we definitely prefer this version over Aurora’s Ghost Train Haze.
