Slurri Crasher is the result of combining two well-celebrated strains, Slurricane and Wedding Crasher. The result is an indica-dominant strain that is capable of pulling flavours and bag appeal from both.
Tantalus Labs says they cultivate this strain so that it produces dense colourful flowers with an intense turpentine smell. They describe the taste as a mix between lemony citrus and gassy fuel. Interesting combination for sure.
But how does Slurri Crasher from Tantalus Labs measure up?

Slurri Crasher from Tantalus Labs arrived in an industry standard white plastic container with resealable lid. We removed the top and immediately recognized the very strong aroma of pine and lemon with an undertone of gassy diesel. Very exciting and exactly how the aroma was described. So far so good…
Slurri Crasher has interesting appearance. The buds feature tones of dark forest green mixed with olive green that seem to blend through from end to end. In addition, the trichome crystals have a fuzzy appearance that make the buds look like they were dipped in a kief-coloured sauce. To put it simple, Slurri Crasher looks great.
Based off the description we hoped (and expected) for a lemony citrus flavour. However smoking it tasted closer to a smooth woody flavour with faint hint of pine and diesel. The taste was okay but not what was expected.
Now here is where things got a bit disappointing. Tantalus Labs’ Slurri Crasher was just an average high, best described as a mild high. My mind was vaguely aware of the high while my body buzz for a short time. My face tingled a little bit as if I’d just taken a wet wash cloth off my face. To be honest, we had hoped for more. So far this is the first product from Tantalus we feel is just average.
